Other awards handed out on the night included the Innovation and Technology prize, which was given to Stocksfield's IHC Engineering Business for its work on the creation of the Saipem J-Lay Tower.
Pipelay and trenching systems company IHC Engineering Business Ltd, based in Stocksfield, Northumberland, collected the Innovation and Technology prize for the creation of the Saipem J-Lay Tower allowing the installation of large diameter subsea pipelines in water depths of up to 3000m.
