Tokyo, Apr 29, 2009 - (ACN Newswire) - JETRO is now inviting applications for participation in the JETRO Zone at the 15th annual "N-EXPO/KANSAI '09," a leading environmental business exhibition that will be held in Osaka from September 3-5, 2009.
The center will provide Japanese small and midsize firms with free office facilities, equipment and business information about the country for up to two months to help them decide about investing, JETRO said.
Responding to growing complaints about Japan's global trade surplus of $237 billion over the last four years, JETRO has brought more than 700 foreign businesspeople and trade specialists to Japan--including at least 10 African-Americans--to teach them how to do business there.
Among the most promising Cuban exports to Japan, say JETRO officials, are coffee, honey, fruit juices, vegetables, citrus, cigars and fresh fruits.
