Entries were particularly good in the beef cattle section with the championship going to young exhibitor Berwyn Hughes, Lampeter with his 17-month-old Blonde d'Aquitaine x Belgian Blue heifer.
Dylan Bowen of Rosebush took the Hereford award, the winning Simmental was the two-year-old heifer Twyford Natalie from Arwel Jones, and the Canning family of Meidrim headed the Blonde d'Aquitaine entries.

The suckler cows are mainly Simmental that are crossed with Limousin and Blonde d'Aquitaine to calve in April and May.
