The bleed valve is generally at the top of the radiator, and the shape of the hole in it will determine whether you use a radiator key or a small screwdriver to bleed it.

Turn the key anticlockwise in the bleed valve at the top of the radiator and you'll hear a hissing sound, which is the sound of the air releasing.
Fit the bleed key into the bleed valve and carefully turn it anti-clockwise only a little, usually just a quarter or half turn.
