The widely ranging topics include the impact of cancer prevention education on students, affiliation with universities, academic assistance for youth at risk of failure, classroom token economies used to manage destructive behaviors in preschools, violence and victimization among adolescents at school, the relationship between girls' friendships and their adulthood adjustment, classroom structure and behavior management practices with at-risk students, childhood resilience in the classroom, effectiveness of school interventions, three-tier approaches to behavior and reading intervention, Asperger's Syndrome and other autism spectrum disorders in mainstream classes, and a literature review.

US$930,000 is being sought from the Inter-American Development Bank for Entrepreneurial and Labor Qualification for Youth at Risk (GU-M1019).
