Driver-ZED is especially useful for newer drivers such as teens and is available at a discounted price during the entire month of April to coincide with Work Zone Safety Week.

As a special part of National Work Zone Awareness Week, PennDOT and the American Traffic Safety Services Foundation (ATSSA) will recognize elementary school students that won a statewide work zone safety poster contest.

As part of efforts to mark National Work Zone Awareness Week, April 7-11, 2008, the Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) developed a six-lesson curriculum on work zone safety for fourth-grade students.
