What does UJTL stand for?

KDEs are distilled information extracted from approved text that represents the fundamental points and core ideas of joint doctrine, supporting terminology, and the Universal Joint Task List.

The joint tasks are described through the Universal Joint Task List and the Joint Mission Essential Task List, along with the specified standards and conditions.

Joint mission-essential task lists, developed for units performing specific missions, are derived from the universal joint task list outlined in Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Manual 3500.

The METL includes mission-critical tasks taken from the Air Force Mission Essential Tasks, which is a portion of the overall DoD system of the Universal Joint Task List (UJTL).

In addition six strategic theater tasks from the universal joint task list are accomplished based upon the type of deployment.
