Assured re-election in the Springfield School District are Jonathan Light, a Pleasant Hill School District music teacher; Al King, a financial adviser with Raymond James Financial Services and former state legislator; and Nancy Bigley, administrative manager for the Outback Steakhouse and a chapter member of Start Making a Reader Today.

SMART(R), Start Making A Reader Today, is the sole focus of the Oregon Children's Foundation whose mission is to enhance the reading skills, attitudes, and life prospects of children who need assistance, and to enable adult volunteers and communities to experience the rewards of enriching young lives.
