FURTHER to the answer claiming kilts were not used after 1936, I have a photo taken at Stammlager 21D PoW camp at Fort Rauch, Posen, Poland, in 1942 of British camp staff, which includes Company Sergeant Major McLean of the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders, wearing a kilt.
