What does SP stand for?

Designed to survive in rugged environments and support a wide variety of applications, Solo Matrix(TM) is automotive temperature rated from -40 degrees Celsius to +125 degrees Celsius, and may be permanently mounted in a vehicle's engine compartment for continuous monitoring of signals such as VSS, alternator and battery current, turbo systems and nearly every other signal present under the hood, as well as body module and drive-train applications.

In particular, the amount of common mode signal present in a realistic design, the amount of inductance created by a signal line due to inter-board connectors, the amount of noise between reference planes in two adjoining boards, and the overall impact on the high speed differential signals are described.

On the front panel the AN-16/i has a four-position gain switch (+22, +4, 0, and--10dB), stereo channel link switches, and signal present and clip LEDs.

Each channel has two indicators, one for signal present and one for clipping.

The 3320 Video Xtender converts the input electrical signal present on a 75ohm BNC connector to an optical signal for transmission over singlemode fiber optics.

The input panel also has a rotary level control, mic/line switch, and LED indicators for signal present and peak overload.

But Tellium's Aurora avoids the expensive demux/remux that SONET ADMS or BDCS require for every signal present at the node by allowing the pass-through traffic to be processed optically.
