ISLAMABAD -- Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Wednesday said that both Pakistan and Bosnia and Herzegovina needed to work on Preferential Trade Agreement so that economic relations between the two countries could be based on sound footings.
Given the growing trade between the two countries and realization of preferential trade agreement in the current year, it is predicted that Iran-Turkey trade to exceed $15 billion in 2011, the report added.
The World Trade Report 2011, which was presented to United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) members on 27 July 2011 in Bangkok, observes that Asian countries have become some of the most active in signing preferential trade agreements (PTAs).
We will take it forward having preferential trade agreements, free trade pacts in these regions to ensure that our industry and exporters have a better access in these markets," he said.
