What does PPC stand for?

NCQA operates three programs that recognize physicians for quality care: Physician Practice Connections (PPC recognizes physicians for using IT to meet quality standards), the Diabetes Physician Recognition Program and the Heart-Stroke Recognition Program--and it's primarily those programs NCQA is concerned with, not certification of functionality and interoperability of EHR products.

Two additional programs, Physician Practice Connections and Physician Practice Connections - Patient-Centered Medical Home recognize physician groups for using clinical information systems and systematic processes to enhance care for all of their patients.
