The workshop organised by the People's Health Movement (PHM, India), Jan Swasthya Abhiyan, covered aspects on health in the area of women's right to healthcare, rights to essential drugs, healthcare rights of unorganised workers and urban poor, health rights of HIV/AIDS affected persons and health rights in situations of conflict.
This will not just highlight the failure of the fulfillment of the Alma-Ata Declaration, but also show solidarity for the concept of primary health care which is the larger theme taken up by the People's Health Movement for the next few years.
