What does NEGA stand for?

Messer has served as a director of the following organizations: the American Gas Association, The Institute of Gas Technology, the Gas Research Institute, the United Way of Massachusetts Bay, the State Advisory Committee of the Salvation Army, the Boston Municipal Research Bureau, the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation, the Southern Gas Association/Cable Television Network and the New England Gas Association.

He is a member of the Rhode Island Professional Engineering Society and the New England Gas Association where he has served as chair of the Operating Division.

Working in cooperation with the New England Gas Association and its member companies, EnergyNorth Natural Gas has participated in drills designed to test the regional response to a variety of potential Y2K problems.

O'Brien is treasurer of the New England Gas Association.

Sitton is a member of the Natural Gas Association of Houston, the Natural Gas Transportation Association, the New England Gas Association and a past member of the Strategic Planning Committee of the American Gas Association.

Bolduc is a member of the New England Gas Association Society of Gas Lighting, the American Management Association and the Managing Committee of the American Gas Association's Finance and Administrative Section.

He is also a member and past director of the Gas Research Institute; a member and past director of the American Gas Association; and a director of the New England Gas Association, where he served as chairman during 1983-84.
