The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission withdrew accreditation because too few of the program's faculty had master's degrees and there was not an acceptable evaluation plan to determine outcomes for the students.

Excelsior College School of Nursing is fully accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission and is an NLN Center for Excellence (one of only 11 in the nation).

The program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission and has preliminary approval by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
