BOSTON, June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The MultiBand OFDM Alliance (MBOA), an industry organization dedicated to developing high-performance ultrawideband (UWB) technical specifications, said today that it has organized programs in support of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) as the FCC hosts the Third Meeting of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Task Group on Ultrawideband Compatibility.
A technology pioneer, Alereon holds the greatest number of UWB patents, was first to demonstrate an entirely in-house designed UWB platform, co-founded the MultiBand OFDM Alliance (MBOA) and WiMedia Alliance, and is participating in the development of a wireless USB standard.
