Hollingworth has been managing various associations for the past 10 years, including the local chapters of American Society of Landscape Architects and Lambda Alpha International.
Gene's contributions to the appraisal profession included participation and leadership in numerous organizations including: * The Society of Real Estate Appraisers (Past president, Birmingham Chapter) * American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers (Past President, Alabama Chapter) * American Society of Appraisers (Past President, Birmingham Area Chapter) * Gene also had been a member of the Urban Land Institute, Institute of Business Appraisers, Lambda Alpha International Honorary Land Economics Society, American Statistical Association, and Mathematical Association of America.
She is also involved in the Los Angeles Business Council and the Urban Land Institute and serves on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Chapter of Lambda Alpha International, a prestigious international professional "honorary land economics society," whose members are chosen solely by invitation.
Lambda Alpha International created the Skyline Award more than a decade ago to recognize noteworthy and commendable instances of the practical application of the principles of land economics in the preservation, development or better utilization of the land resources of the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
Twice recognized as one of San Francisco's "75 Most Influential Women," by the San Francisco Business Times, she is also a member of Lambda Alpha International and was recently awarded the Library Advocate Award from the State of California.
He is a past president of the Memphis Mortgage Bankers, a director of the Tennessee Mortgage Bankers, a member of Lambda Alpha International, an honorary land economics society.
