The 7th Report of the Joint National Committee on Prevention, Detection, Evaluation, and Treatment of High Blood Pressure categories for P-HTN (systolic 120-139 mmHg and/or diastolic 80-89 mmHg) and HTN (systolic [greater than or equal to] 140 mmHg and/or diastolic [greater than or equal to] 90 mmHg) were used in this study.
