Byline: manish03 The Prime Minister of Thailand Abhisit Vejjajiva, who is scheduled to visit Qatar from November 24-26, will sign a memorandum of understanding to establish a joint business council (JBC) with Qatar, an embassy source said yesterday.
Addressing the 10th India-Iran Joint Business Council (JBC) Meeting, hosted by India's premier business body, Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) at FICCI Auditorium here, Mohammad Nahavandian, President Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines and Advisor to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said: "Setting up branches of Iranian bank in India and Indian bank in Iran will facilitate the Industries of the two countries to take the trade ties to a new height".
ISLAMABAD, November 04, 2009 (Frontier Star): Pakistan and Malaysia has agreed to form Joint Ministerial Committee (JMC), Joint Business Council and Working Groups to monitor, review and carry forward the implementation on decisions and agreements reached between the two countries for bilateral trade Investment and business.
Joint business council Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have felt the pressing need that more interaction was required at the level of the business communities to bring qualitative and quantitative improvement in balanced trade.
The Saudi Arabian delegation, all members of the Saudi British Joint Business Council, covered a broad range of sectors, including oil and gas, petrochemicals, power, water, IT, security systems, construction, infrastructure, environmental technology and transport.
The private sector in the two countries should promote these relations to meet the level of aspirations, he said, adding that the Joint Business Council should assist the private sector in both the countries, facilitate exchange of information, avail investment opportunities, eliminate barriers that could hinder promoting exchange and partnership in various trade, economic and industrial spheres.
