The study has been presented at the 25th annual conference of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology heard today (Wednesday 1 July).
Dr Loukas Klentzeris, 48, who was the director of the Cardiff Assisted Reproduction Unit for the Cardiff and Vale NHS Trust, said he and his family had been 'devastated' over allegations he 'lied' in a paper he wrote for the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).
Dr Elihu Levitas,from Soroka University, Beer-Sheva, told the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) conference in Berlin: ``The favourable outcome may be explained by a tranquillising effect which leads to stress reduction.
