12, 2003 The Eight Mile Boulevard Association Board of Directors announce a new Executive Director for the organization, celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2003 of revitalizing and promoting the Eight Mile Road transportation, business and residential corridor by linking the efforts of the public and private sectors.
The Eight Mile Boulevard Association encourages businesses and volunteer groups to register their participation by calling 248-559-8633.
This year's luncheon will celebrate the past successes of the Eight Mile Boulevard Association, now in its tenth year.
The goal of Clean Team is to instill pride in our community by keeping a tidy neighborhood and to encourage economic development," said Leslie Brittain, Eight Mile Boulevard Association executive director.
The Eight Mile Boulevard Association is a non-profit organization created in 1993 to oversee 27 miles of Eight Mile bordering 13 communities and three counties between I-94 (Eastpointe, Harper Woods) and I-275 (Farmington Hills, Livonia).
These are individuals who have volunteered with the Eight Mile Boulevard Association continuously since its creation in 1993.
