Topics include understanding and intention, the "enactive" approach to social cognition, social interactions through embodied action, conceptual and methodological issues in the investigation of primates, human communication, the integral element of presence, stages in the development of perception, interaction through a mirror system, changing between self and other, the ontogeny of action perception and control, the role of joint commitment, dynamic representation of occluded actions, communication and experience, and adolescent autism as a tool in studying the development of intersubjectivity.
