What does CAS stand for?

Relocates procedures to PGI in the areas of: providing contract administration services to foreign governments and international organizations; coordination between corporate and individual administrative contracting officers; processing of contractor novation and change-of-name agreements; processing of voluntary refunds from contractors; and providing technical representatives at contractor facilities.

GAO recommended that the department standardize its payment instructions and automate those instructions in the Mechanization of Contract Administration Services (MOCAS) system.

She also worked for the Defense Supply Agency, Defense Contract Administration Services Office (DCASO), San Antonio, before her employment with the Army at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

Before joining the company in 1987, Aldrich was an administrative contracting officer for Defense Contract Administration Services Management Area (DCASMA) in Boston.

In May 1994, DCMA's precursor, the Defense Contract Management Command (DCMC) initiated a new line of customer services known collectively as early contract administration services (Early CAS).
