What does CAF stand for?

Since our reorganization in 1992, which was based largely on functional alignment, Air Force members have tended to view events through a mobility perspective, a combat air forces perspective, or a space perspective rather than an Airman's perspective.

Most will remain at their respective Combat Air Forces and Mobility Air Forces logistics support centers and AFMC's three air logistics centers.

Overall staffing will be approximately 1,000 people, with the vast majority remaining at their respective Combat Air Forces and Mobility Air Forces Logistic Support Centers and the three AFMC Air Logistic Centers.
