At a hearing in Charleston sponsored by the watchdog groups Coal River Mountain Watch, Ohio Valley Environmental Coalition and Kentuckians for the Commonwealth, Appalachian residents spoke out about what has happened to their communities--and their lives--since mining operations came to town.
