Local 509 has members in these state agencies: Department of Children and Families, Department of Transitional Assistance, Department of Mental Health, the child support units of the Department of Revenue, Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission, Department of Correction, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Department of Early Education and Child Care, and the Commission for the Blind.
