The grants include: $8,500 to Forests Today and Forever for its youth education outreach programs; $4,800 to Friends of Mount Pisgah Arboretum for the Spring Discovery Tours nature education program; $3,000 to Lane Arts Council for the Youth Arts Program; $3,000 to Lane Community College Foundation for its Summer Musical Theatre program; $2,000 to Arts Umbrella for concerts for elementary students in the Eugene-Springfield community; $1,000 to Lane Business Education Compact in recognition of Weyerhaeuser employees who volunteered in a high school job shadow project; and $1,000 to Mohawk High School in recognition of Weyerhaeuser employees who helped upgrade the school's track and field facility.
