The tests used to measure treatment effects in the current study contained the Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency (BOTMP; Bruininks, 1978), the Developmental Test of Visual Motor Integration (VMI; Beery, 1997), and the Test of Sensory Integration Function (TSIF; Lin, 2004).
The review includes the following tests: * Motoriktest fur Vier- bis Sechjarige Kinder (MOT 4-6), * Movement Assessment Battery for Children (Movement-ABC), * Peabody Development Scales (PDMS), * Korperkoordinationtest fur Kinder (KTK), * Test of Gross Motor Development (TGMD), * the Maastrichtse Motoriek Test (MMT), * the Bruininks-Oseretsky test of Motor Proficiency (BOTMP).
The Motor Development Scale of the Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency (Bruininks, 1978) was designed to assess children's motor development and to measure their gross- and fine-motor skills.
Andy's pediatrician assigned a diagnosis of DCD based on the following factors: a consultation with the physical therapist; review of the test results, including the Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency (BOTMP), (42) manual muscle testing, and position sense testing; and concerns of his guardians and teachers.
