The British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection (BUAV) is urging shoppers to only buy BUAV-approved cosmetics, symbolised by the "Leaping Bunny" logo.
Now the British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection is urging consumers to purchase cosmetics that are BUAV approved (with the Leaping Bunny logo) which is the only way for consumers to be 100% sure that the cosmetics they are using are cruelty-free.
The global estimate was put together jointly by the British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection and the Dr Hadwen Trust for Humane Research and is published in the journal Alternatives to Laboratory Animals.
