What does BCS stand for?

Each year the Wrexham-based university awards a prize to the student with the most innovative research project and a prize - sponsored by the British Computer Society (BCS) - to the best performing student from its suite of computing degrees.

The Code was developed in partnership with industry bodies such as the British Computer Society to improve energy efficiency among technology firms who are asked to annually report their energy consumption.

The organisation has been accredited as a British Computer Society approved centre and as a result has launched a European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) training programme.

Organised by the British Computer Society, the finals were held at Coventry University yesterday afternoon.
