The final day of this conference will feature two half-day workshops facilitated by Ralph Sickinger, Software Development Manager, Best Manufacturing Practices Center of Excellence, US Navy; Leigh Merola (Major US Reserves), Engineering Manager, Integrated Defense Systems, Raytheon and Jerry Braun, Sustainment Engineer, NAVSEA NSWC/Crane Division, Obsolescence Management lead for the LPD 17 Program, US Navy.

In 1993, the Best Manufacturing Practices Center of Excellence (BMPCOE) was established in order to broaden its reach within companies, government agencies and educational institutions to further increase the spread of information and knowledge.
