James (Jay) Burkhart, senior vice president, Global Aftermarket for Federal-Mogul Corporation (OTCBB:FDMLQ), was presented the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA) "Pursuit of Excellence" Award during the annual APPEX trade conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In addition to his automotive industry activities through MEMA, Pond also serves as a trustee for the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA) University and as a member of the supplier advisory council to the Ford Motor Co.
He is an active member in several industry associations, and has served on the Advisory Council of the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA) and on the board of directors of the Automotive Parts and Accessories Association (APAA).
