National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCALP) Formerly known as the National Certification Agency (NCA), the NCALP is a voluntary, not-for-profit organization sponsored by the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) and the Association of Genetic Technologists (AGT) that has certified medical laboratory personnel since 1977.
