What does AR&FA stand for?

For several reasons we changed the name to the American Running and Fitness Association to reflect the change in our membership.

Years ago I saw an article in Running & FitNews, a newsletter from the American Running and Fitness Association, that focused on ways to excite children about fitness.

The American Running and Fitness Association suggests cutting intensity by 65 percent to 75 percent during your first workout in the heat.

She is a member of the Maryland Committee on Physical Fitness, serves on the board of the American Hiking Society and on the advisory board of the American Running and Fitness Association.

The American Running and Fitness Association, American Medical Athletic Association, and National Recreation and Park Association are also jumping on the bandwagon with their initiative to get Americans more active.
